Changing gems on weapons of companions

I just noticed that bot is not replacing gems with better gems on weapons of my companions, only on their stuff they are "wearing"

Hi there,

I don't think this is a bug since the bot does in general only equip and replace gems on equipped items.
Do you see any reason why the bot should equip items in the inventory?
I think especially for items that are just there because they aren't sold yet it would be bit of a waste to use gems in them

No, i did not mean that. I mean that the bot is changing gems only on "clothes" and not on weapons. Everything except weapons is changed (gems in it) via bot.
