Re: Unofficial MFBot Update
Hi marenga, hi all!
Posting for the first time here. I want to say that I'm a big fan of your work marenga on MFBot – it's an amazing tool! I've been using it for a long time.
I came across the recent discussion about the sacrifice/update issue in Arena manager (the bot not refreshing money after sacrificing until another action triggers an update). I understand the problem and the workaround you suggested for v6.20.
However, I've encountered two related issues:
Issue 1: No manual Update button visible
I don't see the "Update" button in the account details window (bottom right corner as mentioned). The blue refresh arrows also don't seem to work for manual account refresh. Would it be possible to add this update function to the Batch Actions menu? That way, users could manually trigger an update.
Issue 2: Error when setting "Nach Toiletten Zyklen" (Toilet Cycles)
When I try to set the "Nach Toiletten Zyklen" value in the sacrifice settings, I get an error. I've attached a screenshot below. The program goes completely crazy, and then I have to reset it in the settings and restart it.
Looking forward to the fix in v6.20! Thanks again for all the hard work.

That is the button I was talking about. That actually just sends an update request.chester7 hat geschrieben: Sa 15. Nov 2025, 12:38 Issue 1: No manual Update button visible

I could, but it sould not be that necessary. You can accomplish the same already by selection "register for guid fights". That already sends an update and does nothing else, if there are no guild fights. The next update will just auto update during idle upgrades, so that should all be resolved then anyways.chester7 hat geschrieben: Sa 15. Oh, damn, yeah. Thanks for reporting that. The issue here seems to be the ui-column, that displays the sacrifice target, not actually the setting. Since there is no valid number (we are waiting a time, not for an amount), it just dies. That bug only seems to triggers, if that column is visible, so I never noticed that, since it totally of-screen for me. Will be fixed in 6.20chester7 hat geschrieben: Sa 15. Re: Unofficial MFBot Update
Thank you for keeping this bot alive.
Do you plan to fix dark mode in future ? I understand that its probably lower priority but it already worked in earlier versions so i assume that code is already there just maybe something broke it.

Re: Unofficial MFBot Update
I have that on my list and I do have a test-version, that technically has a workin dark-mode, but it look horrible and crashes in some parts.Monkey3 hat geschrieben: Sa 15. Nah, apart from the dropdown buttons in the gui, everything is gone. Like the part of the code that reacts when the selection changes is just empty and no traces of anything can be seen anywhere. They just deleted that code for the 6.0 release, prosumable because they encountered similar issues as me. The versions where darkmode was working (< 6.0) are also encrypted, so there is no way for me to try to recover any of that. I have to do that all from scratch.

Thank you so much for the quick response! I really appreciate it.
I understand the first and second issues now. You're right, it's not necessary to add it to Batch Actions. Thanks for explaining the "register for guild fights" workaround – that makes perfect sense and I'll use that if needed.
Also, I sometimes thought the bot was "stuck" and not purchasing attractions in the Arena Manager. But now I understand.
I'm really looking forward to the v6.20 update! Keep up the amazing work.
Cheers!

Re: Unofficial MFBot Update
Ok, so I have good news and bad news. Good news, here is 6.20 with support for washing items and some fixes for issues reported since 6.19. Bad news, I am going on a short vacation today and will only come back in ~ a week. I will probably have some time to respond to a few messages here, or to fix urgent problems, if any come up, but otherwise, I am going to be gone for the next week. Have fun testing this here, until I am back

Changelog:
Code: Alles auswählen
- Implement washing items
- It is currently implemented as a check before selling items, so it will reuse all the filters from there and trigger before the bot is trying to discard items.
- You can select between a few different sub options, as to which items you want to wash in the settings, depending on what purpose you want to wash items for.
- Note that the system is currently very aggressive. That means it will always wash all the items, that it is allowed to, so if you enable everything and have no sell restrictions, it will just wash your entire inventory.
- You are heavily encouraged to at least enable to "do not sell better items"-option in the shop
- Please give feedback for all of this, if you are brave enough to try this
- sandstorm and twister are now automatically attacked again, if they are free (untested, but should work. If not, or you want a setting back to manually enable this, let me know)
- rewrote/fixed the event parsing systems
- The bot will now only show the events (event effects), that are actually active
- This also fixes some things related to pet finding and the selection in the tavern settings is now actually working
- The idle game will now actively update the amount of money you have to fix long periods of inactivity
- fix sf import window settings copy not working
- fix arena & idle game translations
- fix idle game toilet cycle setting crashing the bot
- fix bot logging in twice when you first login
- removed duplicate key warning (changed severity to trace, which should be invisible)
